Nidhya's Visit

I was lucky enough to have another friend come and visit me.  It was super fun having someone to hang with while Greg has been busy at work.  Nidhya was here for 5 days, her first day overlapped with Ivette.  Nidyha showed up last Thursday around noon, and we went directly to the tramway here in Albuquerque, and then hiked 9-10 miles down.  It took us about 4 hours, and we did not plan well with water supply.  Needless to say, we were VERY thirsty by the end of it...good to know for the next hike =)  While she was here, we basically either went hiking or  mountain biking each day.  Greg was able to drive to Taos with us and we hiked up to Williams lake near the ski resort.  It was at 11,000 ft, and I certainly felt out of shape!  We also went to Santa Fe one day and shopped a bit downtown and went to the Georgia O'Keefe museum.  Turns out Santa Fe is super cute and a great place to spend an afternoon.

This picture above is of the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge right outside of Taos...pretty impressive and freaky to walk on!

Now I am off to Alaska for the next 10 days!!
